CraftA

Creating a visual identity that represented the diverse audience that they wanted to attract.

CraftA creates arts and crafts projects to provide alleviation from loneliness and boredom. CraftA were looking for illustrations to use for their “Yarn Tales” initiative.

The Trustees had been struggling to find illustrations of people knitting and crocheting that represented the diversity of the communities they serve. As a result Sketchnotes UK was commissioned to create bespoke illustrations for their marketing materials.

WHAT THEY SAID:

This simple change to our branding radically improved our uptake of users and immediately broadened our demographic.

We noticeably attracted a broader range of users to our community creative art workshops and increased our social media profile.

A welcome and surprising addition is that by ensuring we include Mandy’s diverse images in all our correspondence, we have noticed that we have been much more successful in applying for funding and have improved our business networks. Her images have helped tell the story and our aspirations for our organisation to our prospective collaborators and donors.

We are delighted with the impact of her work. We look forward to using her in new campaigns.”
