NPC

Visual summary of climate change research

We were initially commissioned to create four visual summaries based on research conducted by NPC. Each summary focused on one of the following social groups:

  • Young people

  • Older people

  • Disabled people

  • People from ethnic minority communities

Following the completion of these summaries, we were later commissioned to produce four additional summaries as NPC continued to publish further research.

Each visual summary consisted of three key sections:

  1. The direct impacts of environmental crises on the group.

  2. The effects of environmental policy to date on the group.

  3. A vision of a positive future, emphasizing the role charities and funders could play in driving change.

NPC provided the core text, with scope for minor refinements in collaboration with our team. The visual summaries maintained a cohesive style, incorporating NPC’s brand colors alongside up to three additional agreed colors (likely pale green, pale blue, and black).

The designs were optimised for digital viewing (e.g., PowerPoint presentations and social media) while ensuring accessibility for mobile and print use by avoiding block color backgrounds.

We also advised on the most suitable file formats for the final deliverables (e.g., PDF or JPEG). All materials were approved by both NPC and a designated lead partner for each social group before completion.
